Continuous Use: PTFE tape can often withstand continuous temperatures ranging from -100 degree to 260 degree (-148 degree F to 500 degree F).

Short-Term Exposure: PTFE tape may endure higher temperatures for short durations without significant degradation. Some formulations can tolerate intermittent exposure to temperatures as high as 290 degree (554 degree F) or more.

It's important to note that while PTFE itself has excellent high-temperature resistance, other factors such as the substrate to which the tape is applied and the conditions of use (pressure, stress, etc.) can affect the overall performance.

Additionally, extreme caution should be exercised when exposing PTFE tape to open flame or high-temperature sources, as overheating can lead to the release of fumes that may be harmful. Always use PTFE tape within its specified temperature limits and adhere to safety guidelines.
